The New Chucky Movie Trailer Is Completely Terrifying

The trailer suggests Chucky is an evil, violent being that is out for blood.

Earlier this morning, Orion dropped the first real teaser trailer for its forthcoming remake of Child's Play.

"Child's Play" stars newcomer Gabriel Bateman as Andy Barclay, a young boy who comes into the possession of a murderous doll.

This particular Child's Play is not a part of the original franchise from Chucky's original creator, writer-director Don Mancini. A visit to the Best Buddi website contains more information, including Buddi's "20 sensors and cameras", adaptive learning functions, and "cloud-backed voice recognition". We're never getting rid of that guy.

Kyrie Irving of Boston Celtics exits with knee sprain
Irving had 14 points in as many minutes before leaving, making his only 3-point attempt and all five free throws. But he told the media "it's not fun" after the Celtics blew a 28-point lead in a loss against the Clippers.

It's definitely an interesting twist on the terrifying tale, making Chucky not so much a possessed doll but a robot on the rampage (more like a toy-sized Terminator).

Rising filmmaker Lars Klevberg (Polaroid) directed from Tyler Burton Smith's (Kung Fury, Quantum Break video game) screenplay based on the original motion picture. It is also being produced by the creative team behind Stephen King's It reboot. She made her debut in 1998's Bride of Chucky.

"Obviously my feelings were hurt", Mancini said a year ago as production started. "And I did create the character and nurture the franchise for three fucking decades". We said no thank you, because we have our ongoing thriving business with Chucky.

"Child's Play" is due out this June. Will you be seeing it or are you a die-hard Mancini enthusiast?
