NJ groom charged with sexually assaulting teen server at reception

Matthew Aimers

A Pennsylvania couple's wedding ended in a drunken brawl after the groom forced himself on an underage waitress - then followed the teen into a bathroom stall and groped her, according to prosecutors.

On November 24, 2018, Newlywed Matthew Aimers, 31, was at his reception at the Northampton Valley Country Club in New Jersey when he reportedly asked the waitress if they could 'go outside and makeout'.

A groom was escorted out of his own wedding reception in handcuffs after allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage waitress and fighting police.

"We can do whatever you want", Aimers allegedly told her, according to the affidavit.

The waitress managed to break free and get out of the bathroom and says she's been left "shaken" by the incident.

Even Amazon wants face recognition regulated
In response to Amazon's post , Neema Singh Guliani, ACLU's senior legislative counsel, disputed several of Amazon's claims. The company produced a five-point plan to responsibly regulate the technology when it comes to law enforcement.

The waitress told police he started kissing her against her will before trying to unbutton her trousers and then exposed himself, the criminal complaint alleges, reports KYW News Radio 1060. He allegedly kissed and groped her, and tried to unbutton her trousers.

Aimers then allegedly began kissing the girl and rubbing her genitals with his fingers over her trousers, the victim told police.

At one point Aimers allegedly said, "Can you kiss me like you mean it?" Aimers then exposed his penis and began rubbing it against the girl's genitals, she told police.

Aimers lawyer did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. She pushed him off and ran from the bathroom. While police were speaking to the club's manager about the initial report, a second fight broke out at the club's entrance, according to the criminal complaint. The disgruntled groom continued to argue with police before he was eventually taken into custody. Aimers is also accused of punching a country club employee in the face after wandering outside the venue.

Aimers was released from prison the day following his arrest after posting ten percent of his $350,000 bail. He's expected to be arraigned at Bucks County Court next week.
