India’s batting order looked as solid as ever in the second T20I

New Zealand's beaten India by four runs in a nail-biting deciding third T20 in Hamilton, with the tourists restricted to 208 in pursuit of 213 for victory.

After being asked to bat, New Zealand demolished the Indian bowling attack to post an imposing 212 for four in their allotted 20 overs. In between these two dismissals, the Kiwis also got the wicket of a settled Rohit Sharma to tilt the odds in their favour.

New Zealand defeated India by four runs in the third and final Twenty20 global (T20I) to clinch the series 2-1 here on Sunday.

"We started off well in the ODIs, and the boys will be disappointed not getting to the finishing line in the T20s".

That's already a lot of positives from the series, something especially pertinent given India have been experimenting with combinations and personnel ahead of the 2019 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.

Earlier, Virat Kohli led India to a historic Test and ODI bilateral series win in Australia.
