Windows 10 Build 18312 Brings Reserve Storage, Increased FLS Limits And More

Windows 10 Insider Build 18312

Microsoft has said that activation errors seen by Windows 7 users should not be chalked up to Tuesday's patch, but rather were an entirely different cockup.

There are no specifics as to what's changed in cumulative update KB4476976, as Microsoft hasn't published a changelog just yet, but we expect more information to make the rounds once the public rollout begins.

The next Windows 10 preview brings with it a couple of new features that aim to ensure successful updates, as well as easier resetting.

The issue appeared at the same time as another bug that blocks administrator access to remote shares on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7.

In the meantime, Microsoft used the two rings to test cumulative updates before they are publicly released to all users, so there's a chance this is the case today too.

High-fiber diet linked to lower risk of death, chronic diseases
This type of fibre can be found in beans, chickpeas, potatoes, rice, unripe bananas, cereal grains and onion. The study offers another reason why you may consider upping your fibre intake daily.

The firm says that KB 971033, an old update, should not have been installed by "an Enterprise customer who uses Key Management Service (KMS) or Multiple Activation Key (MAK) volume activation", as it was "targeted at consumer installs of Windows using retail activation".

This isn't the first issue with Microsoft's anti-piracy Windows Activation Technologies, which recently caused panic after deactivating legitimate copies of Windows 10.

"Woke up this morning to find a few thousand Windows 7 VDI machines reporting that Windows 7 wasn't genuine". As a result of this fact you are probably going to feel a little constricted by this new update, although most people are probably going to appreciate the time that Microsoft will be saving them thanks to the 7 Gigabytes that has been set aside. "These events are not related".

Microsoft acknowledged the issue in the update's support page and provided a workaround for it while it works on a fix.

Microsoft has noted several issues itself, including a problem where some users are unable to pin a web link to the Start menu or taskbar any longer after installing this security update. It can be found in the latest Windows Insider Program test release of Windows 10, which was announced on Wednesday.
