Apple CEO Tim Cook Says Confident of Prospects Despite Naysayers

The CEO remained tight-lipped about the exact nature of the company's plans, but did put a lot of emphasis on healthcare in an interview with CNBC.

According to a filing submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (via the Wall Street Journal), Apple gave its CEO Tim Cook a hefty 22 percent pay raise its last fiscal year ended in September, bringing his total compensation for the year to nearly $15.7 million United States dollars. Well, Apple's killing it. According to the document, Cook's compensation without his restricted stock is 283 times the company's median worker earns.
