CES 2019: Nvidia's new GeForce RTX 2060 is just $349

NVIDIA Ge Force CEO Jensen Huang CES 2019

During its exhaustive CES 2019 press conference, Nvidia finally pulled the curtain back on RTX graphics for laptops.

KitGuru Says: We should see RTX 2060 reviews start to pop up soon, so we'll be able to get a better look at exact performance.

NVIDIA's RTX line up GPUs are now available on laptops, like the new Alienware m15 and the Acer Triton 900/500.

Specifically, the GPU brand will be releasing a total of 40 new model, all powered by mobile variants of the Turing GPU architecture. Of the 40 models, 17 of them will be designed around NVIDIA's Max-Q Design power efficiency model. Indeed, it will cost just $349 in the US (UK pricing to be confirmed), which is pretty good going considering it's actually faster than Nvidia's own GTX 1070Ti, which can now be had for upwards of £400 / $450.

British special forces soldiers seriously hurt by IS missile
NBC News also reported that, according to a senior administration official, some troops will remain in Syria longterm. Trump said the withdrawal will be completed once the Daesh terror group is eliminated.

Nvidia RTX 2060 features 6GB of GDDR6 memory and 240 Tensor Cores claimed to deliver 52 teraflops of deep learning horsepower via a feature called Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). The new RTX 2060 offers 60% boost in performance than the GTX 1060, and it's even apparently faster than the GTX 1070 Ti. NVIDIA is bringing its G-Sync technology to monitors that originally didn't support the tech through a software update. Some of the supported monitors have already been announced, with NVIDIA testing around 400 monitors.

It was during the last summer when Nvidia officially unveiled the new GeForce RTX series graphics cards for Desktop PCs.

The GeForce RTX 2060 will be available from 15 January priced at $349 (around £275), and buyers will get a choice of Battlefield V or Anthem (below) for free. It is further made obvious by the GeForce RTX labeling on the pictures being used for the event.
