Frenkie de Jong poised to move to Paris Saint Germain: Telegraaf

Frankie de Jong

Paris Saint-Germain win the race for Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong, according to a report.

De Jong has been linked with a move away from Ajax in recent weeks, with Barcelona and Juventus also said to be interested.

The 21-year-old is now one of the most highly rated young players in world football and he, along with teammate Matthijs De Ligt, has been linked heavily with possible moves to Barcelona and Manchester City.

Manchester City needs someone to replace the ageing Fernandinho.

But according to De Telegraaf, De Jong prefers a move to join Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at Parc des Princes than Manchester.

"I don't pay attention to it", the midfielder said. There are so many to learn from.

Jeanne "Star" Peterson told the court she was fast on her feet till her right leg was run over by Fields's vehicle . Heyer's mother, Susan Bro and eight victims are expected to testify before Fields' sentencing, NBC News reported .

It's no secret that Barcelona have been chasing Frenkie de Jong for some time as the Dutchman has been openly talked about at the club.

'I want to finish this season well with Ajax, ' he added. Then we will see.

Manager Erik ten Hag also acknowledged the rumours during his pre-match press conference ahead of his side's game against PEC Zwolle, admitting that should De Jong choose to remain at the club long-term, it would be a boost for the reputation of the Eredivisie as one of Europe's top leagues. But I am not sure, ' he told the paper.

And de Jong has admitted he himself is an admirer of Guardiola's passing-based style of football.

De Jong is well aware of the intense speculation surrounding his future but has insisted he's not letting it sidetrack him in any way.

The news of PSG's interest is of no major concern to Ten Hag, who insists his squad - including De Jong - are exclusively focused on staying in touch with Eredivisie leaders PSV by beating PEC Zwolle on Saturday.
