Former Cavs Guard Arrested for Choking Woman

Raptors Kay Felder

Felder was later arrested for assault and utter threats.

The 2016 NBA Draft pick has bounced around the NBA and G League, but his latest stop is immediately over.

Free-agent point guard Kay Felder has been waived by Raptors 905 of the National Basketball Association G-League after he was charged in connection with a domestic violence allegation, the team announced in a news release.

"Raptors 905 guard Kay Felder was charged by police in connection with an allegation of domestic violence", the team said in a statement. The family member immediately called police afterwards.

Charlottesville: White nationalist found guilty of murder for driving auto into counterprotester
Jeanne "Star" Peterson told the court she was fast on her feet till her right leg was run over by Fields's vehicle . Heyer's mother, Susan Bro and eight victims are expected to testify before Fields' sentencing, NBC News reported .

We've reached out to Felder for comment - so far, no word back.

Felder, 23, did not suit up for a game with the Toronto Raptors this regular season after spending the exhibition slate with the team. He's reportedly been released and is due back in court later in December. Reed is current playing for the Utah Jazz G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, suggesting Felder's career may not be over.

The NBA is one of the most critical professional sports league when it comes to matters of domestic violence so it's questionable whether or not Felder has played his last game for an NBA team.

The 23-year-old Felder averaged 24.4 ppg his final year with the Golden Grizzlies and has played in 58 career National Basketball Association games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons.
