Cardi B Finds Out She's Nominated for Grammys While Leaving Court

Cardi was granted a warning and dodged a $2,500 bail ticket according to TMZ.

But the judge deemed that unnecessary, saying she was not a flight risk. She was also ordered to refrain from any type of contact or making comments about the alleged victims, Baddie Gi and Jade, including on social media. "You should inform her that if she doesn't show up, that unless circumstances change, it's very likely that the court will issue a bench warrant for her arrest".

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, was released on her own recognizance.

She was charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault. The rapper was later spotted in Miami filming an upcoming video in Miami with the City Girls. The judge had insisted that she show up Friday or face possible arrest and the rapper avoided that by showing up.

United States rapper and hip hop artist Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, appears at Queens criminal arraignment court on misdeameanor charges stemming from an alleged assault at a Queens strip club last summer.

The Bronx native is accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders at a Queens strip club back in August, one of whom she believed slept with her husband, rap artist Offset.

The altercation was also a sore spot in the ongoing rift between Cardi and Nicki Minaj.

The "Taki Taki" rapper announced her split from Offset, her husband since September 2017, on Tuesday.
