Post-apocalyptic Far Cry to be unveiled tomorrow

The brief teaser trailer begins with a shot of a mushroom cloud extending into the air, seen from a short distance away. Obviously, some of our favorite developers will get recognition for the hard work they've put into this year's best games, but TGA also acts as a mini-E3 in some respects.

In any event, Far Cry 5 ended with a surprise nuclear Armageddon: It turns out that Joseph Seed, the apocalyptic preacher at the heart of all the trouble in Hope County, was right all along.

We'll just have to wait for the Game Awards to find out - alongside the rumored Crash Team Racing announcement. The version of the clip that Ubisoft posted on Twitter shows that the new Far Cry release will be offered on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Search underway after 2 Marine aircraft crash off coast of Japan
The Marines said in a statement that Japanese search and rescue aircraft responded and were aiding in the rescue effort. The reports suggest the F/A-18 is a two-seat variant and five other crewmembers were on board the C-130.

But anyway, enjoy the teaser trailer and stay tuned for more!

I'm going to call this Fallout x Far Cry hybrid, Far Out, until it's given a proper title. Early in the teaser, a nuke detonates, and we see a brief glimpse of what appears to be some sort of cobbled-together, Mad Max-like mechanical crossbow at the very end. It seems Ubisoft is following a similar path to previous Far Cry games, like when the third game was followed by Blood Dragon and the fourth was followed shortly thereafter with Primal.
