Amber Rudd has been appointed Work and Pensions Secretary.
The announcement comes after Amber Rudd was named the new work and pensions secretary - replacing Esther McVey, who also resigned over the PM's Brexit plans on Thursday.
Rudd was also minister for women and equalities between January and April this year; secretary of state for energy and climate change from 2015 to 2016; a parliamentary under-secretary for climate change from 2014 to 2015; and a parliamentary private secretary to then-chancellor George Osborne from 2012 to 2013.
The government says it "completely disagrees" with the United Nations report, but in the Daily Mirror's view, it could not have painted a bleaker picture of austerity Britain.
Asked about the document, Rudd said: "I haven't seen this document".

Bride of Lion Air crash victim weds without a groom
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this week that Boeing withheld information about problems with the system from pilots. Pratama took the doomed Lion Air JT 610 flight to fly back to Pangkalpinang after attending a conference in Jakarta.
It said that due to a series of confused email exchanges and crossed wires, Rudd was given the wrong information before, during and after the crucial committee hearing that cost her her job.
According to reports, Rudd, a remainer, was offered the job after environment secretary Michael Gove spent 24 hours weighing up whether or not to resign from his post as well.
In a further reduction to the Brexit Secretary's duties, it was revealed that Theresa May will in future take sole control of negotiations on European Union withdrawal.
His older brother Boris, who campaigned hard for the Leave result, quit his role as the Foreign Secretary in summer at the same time as former Brexit Secretary David Davis.
The two appointments were announced as 23 Tory members of the parliament were reported to have submitted letters for a vote of no confidence in the prime minister.
Ms Rudd resigned as Home Secretary in April after she was criticised for the Government's handling of the Windrush scandal, where some migrants from Commonwealth countries who settled in the United Kingdom and their relatives had been declared illegal immigrants.
"There is really important work to do at the Department for Work and Pensions implementing the universal credit programme".
