Netflix update adds support for 2018 iPad Pro lineup

Gorgeous Retina Display

The teardown reveals some interesting changes inside the iPad Pro that is both good and bad for in-house repairs. You can also see the copper coil where it magnetically attaches to the tablet and charger and its mate on the iPad Pro (top photo).

We're less than 24 hours away from when people should start receiving their brand new iPad Pro tablets and a few lucky people have already received theirs for review purposes. A Smart Folio folio case has been priced at Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 9,900 for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes respectively, while a refreshed Smart Keyboard Folio has been priced at Rs. 15,900 and Rs. 17,900 respectively. While the smaller iPad Pro 2018 bears resemblance with the 10.5-inch iPad model from last year, the 12.9-inch variant comes with a smaller form factor when compared to the previous year's variant.

As expected, this new iPad Pro isn't meant to be repaired by Apple customers, as it's hard to open, but iFixit did present some interesting discoveries. The iPad Pro 2018 models come with support for iPhone X-like gesture navigation, due to the departure of the home button. The 1TB variant of iPad Pro 11-inch will cost Rs 1,53,900.

Apple said during the iPad Pro announcement that there was a number of magnets in the new tablets - over 100 of them, in fact. However, the iPad Pro will be able to charge your phone via USB Type-C to lightning port cable. As for audio, the new iPad Pro models come with a four speaker setup that houses two woofers and two tweeters offering wider stereo sound.

The iPad Pro now has a 12MP rear camera and 7MP TrueDepth front camera like the iPhone series.
