China Unveils Earth's Next Orbiting Space Station -"The Heavenly Palace"

China unveils new'Heavenly Palace space station as ISS days numbered

Several global space agencies launched the main module and first components of the ISS into space over two decades ago.

China unveiled on Tuesday a replica of its first permanently crewed space station, which would replace the global community's orbiting laboratory and symbolizes the country's major ambitions beyond Earth.

The new station will technically belong to China, but will open its doors to all United Nations countries.

Right now, it's the only operational space station in orbit - but that's about to change.

In the Chinese city of Zhuhai within aerospace exhibition Airshow China showed a full-sized model of a future space station Tiangong, which translates as "heavenly Palace".

Wayne Rooney farewell ticket sales will not go to player's foundation
Gareth Southgate defended the decision to honour Wayne Rooney by fielding England's top global goalscorer in a friendly against the US at Wembley next week.

Chinese authorities aim to complete the assembly of the space station by 2022 with a projected lifespan of around ten years. It places particular satellites in orbit, for its own account (Earth observation, telecommunications, gps system Beidou) or for other countries.

"We're excited to embrace new technology that improves our ability to engage our audiences in space station research", said David Brady, assistant program scientist for the International Space Station Program Science Office at Johnson. The country's state media reported that China had received around 40 plans from 27 countries and regions.

The station chinese space (CSS), also called Tiangong ("heavenly Palace") will consist of three parts: a main module along almost 17 metres (place of life and labour) presented to you on Tuesday, and two related modules (for scientific experiments).

While most of us are still trailing behind with 4k televisions or sets with a likely much lower resolution, NASA sent a Helium RED 8k ultra high definition (UHD) camera to the International Space Station to capture some wonderful videos.

The US space agency, Nasa, spends about $3 billion (£2.4 billion) a year on the space station program, a level of funding that is endorsed by the Trump administration and Congress.
