Tuilagi included in England's 25-man squad for New Zealand clash

Manu Tuilagi hasn't played for England since 2016

Coach Eddie Jones was hopeful both would be fit to feature against the All Blacks and they have recovered enough to be included in the squad, much to the delight of their team-mates.

The Sale Sharks flanker was taken off early in the second half of the game at Twickenham on Saturday and was already considered a major doubt for this weekend's clash with New Zealand.

The Leicester midfielder, whose career has been blighted by injuries, had been due to make his first England appearance in more than two years during last Saturday's 12-11 win over South Africa at Twickenham before a minor groin strain ruled him out of a place on the bench.

'It's great to see him running around in training. "Your headline writers all think it was bad so maybe you need to get new headline writers because everyone else in the world thought it was good".

'We know what a world-class operator Manu is, ' Youngs told Sky Sports. It settles down the boys to know that he's there'. "I'm sure if he's given the opportunity that he would be able to certainly give us a lot of go-forward and be a key cog to this team".

Champions League: Neymar reveals PSG’s game plan against Napoli
They are unbeaten in nine (W8 D1), but have struggled on both occasions that they've stepped up in class in the Champions League . Kuipers , 45, is an experienced UEFA referee and has been part of the organization's "Elite" group since 2009.

Tuilagi has been joined in the squad by Courtney Lawes who has overcome a back problem, but Tom Curry is out with an ankle injury sustained in the win over South Africa. It's about going out there and really taking the game to them'.

However, Curry - who won his fifth cap against the Springboks - will not only sit out the All Blacks game but also the upcoming fixtures against Japan and Australia.

Tuilagi played an important role in England's last victory over the No 1-ranked team and Youngs added they have the belief to replicate that performance.

"We want to make sure that we give the best account of ourselves and how that is, is making sure we get our game-plan clarity absolute right and then we're able to execute on Saturday".
