PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is finally coming to PS4 in December

News PUBG PS4 Evidence Continues to Mount

PUBG, or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, is reportedly already in Sony's servers and ready for release.

PUBG appears to finally have a release date on PS4.

A user on PS4Profiles, on online forum, provided images and Content ID codes apparently found on the PS4 game database.

Games do not get assigned these IDs unless they're nearing release, or at the very least getting a store page. ResetEra admin and game industry analyst at Niko Partners Daniel Ahmad seemed to corroborate the news, suggesting that the game will be out on PS4 next month.

"European defence cooperation is not about creating an EU army", EU foreign relations chief Federica Mogherini said in February - in one of many similar such remarks.

Right now, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the second most popular standalone Battle Royale game in the world, is a console exclusive. It's unclear how long Microsoft plans to run the promotion for so if you want to try out PUBG on the Xbox, you should probably claim your free copy ASAP.

Having been leaked on a few occasions, and it being foolhardy not to go after the millions upon millions of PS4 owners, it should come as no surprise that PUBG is set to come to the console after an exclusivity period on Xbox One.

PUBG was launched as a console exclusive on Xbox One previous year when it launched as Early Access.

Though it may be a little unusual to be this close to release without any official announcement, the developer's agreement with Microsoft likely prevents advertising on other platforms before the exclusivity period is over. The Xbox One version of PUBG rolled out version 1.0 back in September, about 10 months after the PC version did the same thing.
