Eyes and mouth: Hubble has sent a new image of the cosmos

When NASA captured the new galaxies smiling

Asking its followers to find the face, NASA explained that using unprecedented resolution of the Hubble's camera it was able to locate and study regions of star formation.

Surrounded by a patch of space filled with galaxies of all shapes, colors and sizes, the image reveals two yellow-hued blobs hang atop a sweeping arc of light. Scientists say that "smiling mouth" in the photo turned out with the light from the galaxy, which passed by a massive object, causing distorted. Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) allows astronomers to analyze the luminosity, size, and formation rate of different stellar nurseries, which will one day allow them to understand the formation of new stars in finer detail than before. Over time, these nurseries become unstable, succumbing to gravitational forces until they become the seeds that give birth to new stars. The star that gave rise to a unique cosmic phenomenon, is in the nebula Serpen at the distance of approximately 1300 light years from Earth.

Launched in 1990, Hubble Space Telescope is created to study distant objects and allows researchers to peer deeper into the early Universe than would otherwise be possible with conventional telescopes.

Earlier, scientists have uncovered the mystery of black holes in the Universe.

Mother of Girl Scouts hit-and-run victim: "There was no warning"
Police said that they received a call from a caretaker saying that they had found the boy bleeding from the head and unresponsive. Daniel Sokup says the pickup crossed a lane Saturday morning and veered into a roadside ditch, striking the victims.

Initially, with a mission of only 15 years, Hubble has been at the forefront of scientific discovery for more than 28 years now.

It orbits Earth at a speed of about 17,000 mph in low Earth orbit at about 340 miles in altitude.

Hubble's primary mirror is 2.4 meters (7 feet, 10.5 inches) across and in total is 13.3 meters (43.5 feet) long - the length of a large school bus.
