IOS 12.1 to bring Group FaceTime, dual-SIM support

Apple iOS 12.1 New features launch and more

The user guide goes over the general use cases an iPhone owner might run into, including features like Messages, FaceTime, and other elements. Dual-SIM support has always been absent from iPhones, and according to Pornhub data (not a typo), is one of the few things to have interested Android users during the September iPhone XS reveal.

While users are still enjoying the new features that came with iOS 12, reports about iOS 12.1 beta have been exciting.

In addition to Group FaceTime, the user guide also notes dual-SIM functionality for iPhone "XR", "XS" and "XS Max" will go live when the iOS point update sees release.

If you're eagerly waiting to start some group video chat conversations with your friends over FaceTime, you'll be pleased to know the feature is finally reaching Apple-made devices with the launch of iOS 12.1, which should be any day now.

India recall Rohit Sharma for Australia series; MS Dhoni dropped for T20s
Parthiv was in the mix of things until January this year, when he played against South Africa in the 3-match Test series. The Mumbaikar was dropped from the longer-format of the game after a consistently poor show against South Africa.

Apple users will be able to scan a special QR code with their iPhone Xs, Xs Max, or Xr to set up the eSIM. This dual SIM support is a first for iPhones and will allow users more flexibility in the way they use their devices.

It's not actually clear when iOS 12.1 will land, but these features will definitely be in the mix.

Apple released their fifth beta of iOS 12.1 last week, we normally would expect a sixth beta but it looks like the final version of the software will be released tomorrow the 30th of October. Apple will allow its latest iPhone users to have a standard physical SIM and an embedded eSIM for using dual cellular networks simultaneously.

United States and European Union carriers have reportedly been briefed to begin deploying eSIM contracts from 30 October, at which time users will be able to download iOS 12.1.
