NEW YORK, NY - JANUARY 16: Actor Chris Hemsworth attends the "12 Strong" World Premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center on January 16, 2018 in New York City.

Scott added that he hoped to keep in touch with Chris and that they're now following each other on Instagram.

'He seemed like a normal dude, ' Scott said. I just felt like I was hanging out with some friends'. In the beginning of the video, Luke narrated the tale of having "just landed in Brizzy (Brisbane)" when they spotted a hitchhiker.

The musician said he just got in from Mexico and was heading to Byron Bay, when Hemsworth and Zocchi explained they are flying to the popular tourist hot spot.

"We're going to Byron, we'll give him a lift", Hemsworth chimed in.

Trans People Say They #WontBeErased, As Trump Administration Mulls Defining 'Sex'
Omar Gonzalez-Pagan, a lawyer with Lambda Legal, said the proposed rule change appears to still be undergoing White House review. The new definitions would state that gender is "unchangeable" and only female and male identities exist.

Chris Hemsworth picked up a US-based musician Scott Hildebrand, who was hitchhiking in Australia en route to Byron Bay.

Mr Hildebrand was invited to get into a auto with Mr Hemsworth and his friend Luke Zocchi after travelling from Mexico to Brisbane, before being surprised with the sky-high trip.

It's fair to say that Scott looks pretty happy in the clip.

It was not until Chris and Luke revealed they were going to switch vehicles and fly to Byron via helicopter that Scott realised he'd been given a lift from Hollywood royalty.

"The experience was so cool and unexpected", Scott told E! Hemsworth jokingly asks only for a bit of gas money in return - the low price of "four grand".
