Google Maps Adds EV Charging Stations to Map

Google Maps will now show EV charging stations

Not only will it bring up small red charger icons telling you where available ones are located, it will also give information about what ports are required for each, how many there are at each destination and if they are slow, fast or rapid systems.

Tesla's Supercharger stations are listed on the app all around the world. The general public will be allowed to upload photos and leave both ratings and reviews for every charging station.

Google Maps won't automatically list EV charging locations on your route. That's why, going forward, Google Maps will display electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, which should come in handy when planning longer trips that extend well beyond your EV's autonomy.

Starting today, if you need to search for an EV charging station to get all juiced up, Google Maps app will include support for keywords that'll point you in the right direction.

Google outlined the specific charging stations that can be located in different territories. In the US, you'll find listings for SemaConnect, EVgo and Blink.

Treasury employee accused in leak linked to Mueller’s probe
On Wednesday, she confessed to leaking the reports but "falsely denied" knowing the SARs would be published, the complaint says. Suspicious activity reports are submitted by banks to alert law enforcement to potentially illegal transactions.

Drivers in the USA will get access to details about SemaConnect, EVgo and Blink stations while Australia and New Zealand EV drivers will see information on Chargefox stations.

This new Google Maps feature is rolling out today for Android and iOS users.

Google on Tuesday unveiled a brand new Google Maps feature that should improve your overall navigation experience, but only if you operate the kind of vehicle.

If your Google Maps application has not received the new update, users can download it manually by heading to either the Google Play Store of iOS App Store.
