The Creator of the Android Phone Now Wants to Destroy It

Essential, a smartphone manufacturing brand from Android creator Andy Rubin, has so far launched only one device - Essential Phone PH-1. Instead, Bloomberg's report says, it will be amn AI-powered device that will provide the functions of Google Duplex mixed with a bit of Alexa.

New rumors indicate tell us that Essential is working on a new device to "free users" from their smartphones with artificial intelligence as its main tool. This would have a smaller than standard screen, according to "people familiar with the plans" quoted by Bloomberg's very well-connected Mark Gurman, relying mainly on voice commands for a type of user interaction only possible in sci-fi movies prior to this product's development. The phone will have AI built-in to automatically get real-world tasks done for the user, including things like replying to texts, booking appointments, responding to emails, and more. "Users would also be able to make phone calls from the planned device".

In an interview with Bloomberg previous year, Rubin suggested a benevolent incentive for embarking on a project along these lines. However, the latest piece of information has hinted that the manufacturer could be working on a second handset, but expect it to be quite different from its first product.

Three women claim sexual harassment by director Sajid Khan
What happens next is that he finishes his cardio and walks up to me asking me about my b**bs and making that kind of conversation. She would be furthermore humiliated by him with comments on her breast and ass being non-existent for her to be an actress.

In the past year, the company has been clouded by sexual harassment allegations involving Rubin's time at Google. Rubin imagined it as a single hub with its own voice-command technology that could run queries through Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant - a feat that would likely require cooperation from three competitors.

Essential could show a prototype off as early as January at CES.
