'Joker' Movie Leaks Now Include Trapped Extras Peeing On NYC Subway

Joaquin Phoenix outside a subway car while filming 'The Joker' in Brooklyn

According to TZM's sources on set, extras involved in a subway station scene were locked in a train auto for over three hours and denied their required break after two hours of work. Reportedly, some urinated on the tracks through the small spaces between cars because they had no means of going to the bathroom.

According to the reports, the extras were denied their break after working for two hours, and banged on the doors to be let out.

This then resulted in a number of extras resorting to peeing on the tracks by taking advantage of the gap between cars on the train.

"Joker" stars Joaquin Phoenix and is directed by Todd Phillips from a screenplay he wrote with Scott Silver about a failed stand-up comedian becoming a psychopathic criminal. One of the extras complained to SAG-AFTRA about an alleged violation of rules.

Filming began last month in New York City.
