Dakota Johnson talks baby rumours

Dakota Johnson

Dakota is reputedly dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who was once married to Gwyneth Paltrow until they split in what Gwyneth called a 'conscious uncoupling'. It all started after an October 7 party at Chris' house, which included pink and blue balloons. Although her representative had already dismissed the rumours, Dakota made it clear that she was not pregnant when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ellen couldn't help but ask her about the pregnancy rumours. She went on to explain why the rumours began in the first place, opening up about a amusing coincidence while celebrating her birthday.

As she walked onto the set, Ellen told her, "That is a mighty tight outfit for someone who is pregnant..." Onlookers spotted a bunch of blue balloons let up in the air and immediately presumed she is pregnant with a boy.

Over the weekend, there were blue and pink balloons above her boyfriend Chris Martin's house, sparking rumors that they were hosting a gender reveal party.

"Now I had to be like, 'It was just my birthday, ' and all the people that I didn't invite know that I had a birthday party", Johnson lamented. The fiercely private pair waited nearly a year to confirm their romance, and now rumours are swirling that the new couple are expecting a baby together.

"(I got) a lot of attention. more than just having it being my birthday!" she scoffed. The actress finally broke her silence about their relationship when she graced the cover of Tatler's november 2018 issue, saying: "I'm not going to talk about it, but I am very happy".

Though Dakota and Chris have maintained a very private relationship, she recently opened up during a recent interview with a reporter at Tatler magazine and stated: "I'm not going to talk about it, but I am very happy".
