Acclaimed Farming Sim ‘Stardew Valley’ Coming to iOS in October

The single-player version of the game hit consoles previous year and now, the folks at Chucklefish Games are exploring the game's next frontier: mobile devices.

The iOS version is coming on October 24th.

UK-based mobile studio The Secret Police has ported the game to your phones and tablets, with a redesigned UI and touch-screen controls. Just make sure your save game isn't modded, and don't expect to be able to transfer your saved data back onto the PC.

Who of us that have played Stardew Valley hasn't thought to themselves: I just wish I could play this on my morning commute? Whichever version you end up getting (and you should really grab one of them) it'll only be 7.99 Dollars.

Shunning booze becoming `mainstream´ for youngsters
It has been well documented that more and more young people are not drinking alcohol. Binge drinking rates also decreased from 27% in 2005 to 18% in 2015.

Subscribe to n3rdabl3 on YouTube! "The main difference is that it has been rebuilt for touchscreen gameplay on iOS". Courtesy of The Verge, a little more backstory on the game: "Stardew Valley first launched way back in 2016, and the Harvest Moon-inspired title offers a peaceful-yet-engrossing take on running a farm that should be a flawless fit for mobile". And it transfers well to mobile devices, as Stardew Valley on the Nintendo Switch has demonstrated perfectly. Well, at least iOS users will since the Android version of the game isn't finished yet.

It's up to date with the PC's most recent content update that brought "Stardew Valley" up to version 1.3.

The exciting news that the game will be heading to iPhone wasn't the only good news.

An announcement trailer for the mobile version of Stardew Valley was also released, which you can check out below. There is no release date yet for Android.
