Donald Trump Rips JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon After Weak Political Challenge

U.S. President Donald Trump on September 13 hit back at Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan, for saying a day earlier that he was smarter than Trump and could beat him in a White House race.

Mr Trump added that his economic policies such as tax cuts had helped lift shares on Wall Street, making bankers "look much smarter than they are".

Mr. Trump's assertion comes after Dimon remarked on Wednesday that he could beat President Trump in a presidential election, before backpedaling as his comments drew media attention.

During an event Wednesday morning, Dimon said he thinks he could defeat Trump, as he is "as tough as he is" and "smarter than he is".

Trump wrote on Twitter that Dimon didn't have "the aptitude or "smarts" to run for president, then congratulated himself.

Donald Trump called JP Morgan Chase's chief executive, Jamie Dimon, a "nervous mess" on Thursday, the day after the banker said he could beat Trump in a presidential campaign and said he was "smarter than he is". "I'd fight right back".

In addition to the 11 player nominees and one coach nominee, the Broncos also have a contributor finalist: owner Pat Bowlen. The Oakland Raiders have been fortunate enough to see 26 members of the Silver and Black be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

"I should not have said it", he said in a statement.

"I can't beat the liberal side of the Democratic Party".

"I should not have said it".

Dimon was a member of the president's strategy and policy forum - a council of USA business leaders - which disbanded previous year in the backlash to Trump's response to a white-supremacist rally in Charlottesville.

But he said Trump made his money through "a gift from daddy", while he "actually earned his money".

Dimon has been CEO of JPMorgan, the biggest USA bank, since 2005.
