See the Bench-Clearing Brawl That May Have Reignited the Dodgers/Giants Rivalry

Yasiel Puig vs. Nick Hundley

The benches cleared in the bottom of the seventh inning after Los Angeles' Yasiel Puig and Giants catcher Nick Hundley had a confrontation at the plate.

Puig added that he didn't like Hundley telling him what to do, which prompted the escalation. Hundley took umbrage against what Puig said and confronted his opponent.

The players were then separated again for good.

Once things were sorted out and the two teams returned to their respective benches, Puig and Hundley were both ejected from the game.

What started off as simple frustration after hitting a foul ball turned into an all-out brawl Tuesday night between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium.

USA report identifies more than 1000 victims of priest abuse
The report that's close to 900 pages long names more than 300 priests across six of the eight Catholic dioceses in the state. Bishop Ronald Gainer of the Harrisburg Diocese also issued an apology on behalf of the religious community.

Puig, meanwhile, addressed the possibility of Major League Baseball suspending him. Giants manager Bruce Bochy still didn't understand why Hundley was ejected.

"When I missed the pitch, I knew that was the best pitch Watson was going to throw me, so I was a little upset", Puig said, per MLB.com's Chris Haft. Dodgers first base coach George Lombard held Hundley back in scrum, but Puig still was able to get a slap on Hundley's helmet.

"We're competing on the field against a team we're chasing", Hundley said.

We can officially refer to this as a brawl, even if the definition is being stretched just a bit. We had some words, pushed a couple of times and you saw what happened. "There's really not more to it than that".
