Defiant as Trump rages, Omarosa says she won't be silenced

"He screwed up again, but this time he's screwing us all, big-time", Manigault-Newman quotes the president saying of his son, Donald Trump Jr.

The selection of dates is somewhat unusual because it takes into account job gains or losses before Trump and Obama took office.

Omarosa says that Simmons actually disgusted her more than the way Trump regarded his daughter. "I'm surprised we don't see that a lot more in corporate America".

On Twitter on Tuesday, Trump wrote, "When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out".

Trump, who has denied the existence of any such tape, assailed Manigault Newman in language that stood out even by his trash-talking standards, praising his chief of staff, John Kelly, "for quickly firing that dog!" Trump himself fostered a culture in which internal squabbles took priority over the shared agenda - in large part, aides say, because he enjoyed the ensuing drama.

Continued Kilmeade: "I think the president should do the Eminem thing". Yes, I was invited to the White House and yes I visited Omarosa back in December of 2017.

Omarosa, who is now at odds with Trump since her spontaneous firing from her White House position, says that it's as if the unusual relationship between Donald and Ivanka Trump has been going on for so long that they don't realize that others are cringing.

On Tuesday, she explained to CBS News why she made the recordings: "I'm the kind of person who covers her own back".

The Country Just Got Much Closer to Having Its First Transgender Governor
Hallquist is being supported by The Victory Fund, a political action committee that backs LGBTQ candidates across the country. Four Democratic candidates and two Republican candidates are vying for the Vermont governor seat.

As the Trump White House has learned this week: Norms can seem like inconvenient conventions until you see what the world is like without them.

President Donald Trump's political operation has made a regular practice of providing soft landing-pads for discarded staffers, offering nebulous jobs at big salaries to aides who have been pushed out of his West Wing.

Because you went in [the Situation Room], just like you're hear and you boldfacely walked in with a recorder device. Omarosa may be speaking out now, but she told Noah that during her time in the administration, she was "totally complicit", and she apologizes for the many lies the administration told "to the American people every single day". Certainly, the president is angry at the reports of Manigault Newman's forthcoming book "Unhinged" and her media interviews to promote it.

She now says he "used" her, calling him a "con" who "has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities" but is "truly a racist".

She also alleges that Trump allies tried to buy her silence after she left the White House, offering her $15,000 a month to accept a "senior position" on his 2020 re-election campaign along with a stringent nondisclosure agreement. "And I think that all Americans should be concerned when the President of the United States is showing mental decline, lack of impulse control and he's downright mean", she said.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said she could not guarantee Trump had never used a racial slur. "It's how I'm going to make great deals for the country".

CBS News aired a recording of what appears to be her and other campaign aides hatching a plan to tamp down the damage if such a tape of Trump existed.

She describes a phone conversation about how to handle potential fallout with Lynne Patton, then an assistant to Eric Trump, a son of the president; then-Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson; and campaign communications director Jason Miller.
