The video, which was posted on Facebook, shows Salah with his phone in his hand and later, after moving his vehicle further forward, with both hands on the phone as he sits in traffic.

The club took the action after speaking to the Egypt global following the video being posted online.

In the video, some fans seem to be jostling for the Salah's attention as his auto stops at a traffic light.

Mr Salah keeps focused on the device, ignoring fans surrounding his auto in hopes of autographs and pictures.

The Liverpool ace then appears to put the phone down before driving off.
