Ford will be racing the Mustang in NASCAR for 2019

Mustang is America's best-selling sports auto over the last 50 years, based on Ford analysis of 1966-2018 total USA new vehicle cumulative registrations for all sports auto segments supplied by IHS Markit.

"I think it would be foolish of me to stand here and say I'm 100 percent certain it is going to go well because you never know where things are going to be and apparently don't know what the rules are going to be", Harvick said following the unveil of the new vehicle Thursday at Ford's headquarters.

All 13 Ford drivers in the Cup Series were on hand for the unveiling in addition to various team owners. Instead, Ford plans to run a Mustang-inspired auto like it does in the Xfinity series. A new 2019 NASCAR Ford race auto has made it's debut. The Camaro is in its first season of competition. This comes just after Ford celebrated the Mustang's 10 million production milestone recently.

The feat suggests workers at the Ford factory are a productive bunch, building an average of 500 Mustangs each day.

Woman held captive in Indonesian cave for 15 years rescued
Later that year, she disappeared, with media reports saying that the family was told that she had left to work in Jakarta. Indonesia is a predominantly Muslim country but other beliefs about spirits and paranormal activity are held by some.

"Mustang has raced since it was first sold in 1964". "Our Ford Performance team has worked hard with the Ford Design team to create a Mustang that will be competitive on the track while remaining true to its proud heritage".

The Cup-level Mustang is the result of collaboration between NASCAR, Ford performance and design teams and NASCAR teams that field entries for the famed blue oval. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won back-to-back driver's championships in 2011 and 2012, while Roger Penske has claimed the owner's title in four of the last five years. It will be making its race debut at the Daytona 500 which will be held on February 17, 2019. Even though they are called stock cars, they are stripped of all extraneous equipment like lights, seats, normal safety gear and electronics. Over the last three years, the Mustang has also been the best-selling sports vehicle in the world. Ford also claims that the Mustang is the most featured vehicle in Hollywood movies, and has more Facebook followers than any other auto in the world.

"[They have been] involving the aero engineers and people from the race teams to try to accomplish the things they want and learn along the way, what [things] make the auto make sideforce or more downforce", Harvick said.
