Bielsa Won’t Get Carried Away After Leeds Hammer Lampard’s Derby

While Kemar Roofe couldn't help but stress that they had only played two games yet in his post-match comments, Leeds United have started life under Marcelo Bielsa in the best way imaginable.

A double from Kemar Roofe and goals from Mateusz Klich and Ezgjan Alioski gave Leeds a second victory of the Sky Bet Championship season.

Lampard had raided his former club Chelsea for the services of the promising young defender Fikayo Tomori on loan for the season while Martyn Waghorn, who arrived from Ipswich this week, was given the chance to show what he could bring to the attack.

Barry Douglas fed Alioski on the left flank and the Macedonian winger produced a flawless cross that was met by a towering Roofe to send the ball back where it came from into the far corner of the net.

Marcelo Bielsa's brilliant start as United head coach continued in great style as the team won 4-1 in what was remarkably their first away win since Boxing Day past year.

In his closing argument, the plaintiff's attorney, Brent Wisner, told the jury it was time for Monsanto to be held accountable. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says glyphosate is safe when users follow directions on the label.

Only a desperate block in the area from a Luke Ayling shot then denied Leeds a third and the superb Saiz then produced another energetic run from midfield before firing straight at Scott Carson.

Leeds' lead was short-lived though, Derby equalising seven minutes later when the impressive Tom Lawrence fired in a 12th minute free-kick after he was fouled on the edge of the Leeds United area.

Roofe slammed the ball high past Carson to register his second of the game. Carson made a great save and Tomori blocked the rebound.

It was 4-1 five minutes later when Pablo Hernandez did well to reach an overhit long free-kick into the area and his pull back was smartly headed home by Alioski.

After last week's excellent outing against Stoke City, there wasn't really much expectation that today's game against Lampard's Derby County would be much of the same, yet it was. Subs not used: Roos, Forsyth, Pearce, Marriott.
