Vidal Names Three Barca Stars He Can't Wait To Play With

Arturo Vidal has moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich

Chilean midfielder Vidal will be presented on Monday following his arrival from Bundesliga champions Bayern.

Vidal, who signed a three-year deal with Barcelona on Monday, said that he wants to win three Champions League titles in three years with his new club. "I'm just happy to be here and sign the contract".

"It is a dream. I hope to achieve my objectives", the 31-year-old told the gathered press. I am here to win all the trophies available and I will give everything on the pitch to achieve this.

Last season he featured in 22 of Bayern's 34 league outings, missing 10 of those matches due to various knocks, most notably a serious knee injury which has kept him out of action since April.

Barca won La Liga and the Copa del Rey last season and are hoping to end Real Madrid's dominance of the Champions League, in which they lost to Roma in the quarterfinals last season. "I have not been able to win one yet", he said.

Vidal and Barcelona share a common goal: to win the Champions League. "I've played for a lot of teams and now I'm arriving at the best in the world".

Renowned for his combative style of play, Valverde is looking forward to welcoming Vidal to Catalonia, believing he'll bring something different to Barça's squad.

Midfielder Arturo Vidal, who recently transferred to FC Barcelona from Bayern Munich, held his first training with the Catalan football giants. Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Ousmane Dembele had already reported to the team.
