Bluehole launches 'Fix PUBG' campaign for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has launched its 'FIX PUBG' campaign to quell bugs

PUBG Corporation has announced that it will be making a concerted effort to rid the game of some of its most irritating problems as part of a program it is calling "Fix PUBG". While there are certainly a bevy of consistent PUBG players, the fact that the most common phrase heard among its fan base is "fix the game", does not make the title look good by any stretch of the imagination, and it only creates more opportunities for popular competitors like Epic Games' Fortnite. Bugs, performance problems, and quality-of-life issues have been limiting PUBG's true potential, and you want it fixed. While the average frames per second has steadily risen since launch, it would intermittently drop to below 60 roughly every 10 seconds, causing an annoying stutter effect. While it may not retain parity with its PC brethren, Bluepoint Games and PUBG Corp has undoubtedly worked tirelessly over the past few months to bring the game up to scratch. In a smart moment of transparency, the team have laid out their plans in a detailed roadmap, so players can see exactly what updates and fixes are in store, and what's already been completed. A low tick rate helps lessen strain, but can lead to a sub-par experience.

The push to improve PUBG is one that will be well received by anyone who has been playing the game thus far.

Tesla shares dip after Elon Musk proposes going private
On Tuesday, Musk revealed on Twitter that he was considering privatizing the company after taking it public in 2010. China's Tencent Holdings Ltd, which took a 5-percent stake in Tesla a year ago , could also be a possible partner.

In an update to its developer post on Tuesday, PUBG Corp. put the ability to "place map markers without opening the map" under the "Removed from UI/UX" column without citing any reason. And if that doesn't work, PUBG Corp. says it's working with authorities to take legal action against cheat developers, distributors, and resellers. Squashing bugs will no doubt help too, so we'll have to just hope that things are going to get better in due course.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds developer PUBG Corp. had promised to publish a roadmap detailing everything the studio will be busy doing in the months to come.
