How 'Dynasty' Star Catherine Oxenberg Fought to Save Daughter From Suspected Cult

During an interview with Megyn Kelly on Dateline, Dynasty star Catherine Oxenberg revealed that her daughter, India, was branded by the Allison Mack NXIVM sex cult.

Catherine watched in horror as her daughter fell further and further down the rabbit hole, becoming brainwashed by the organization's charismatic leader, Keith Raniere.

The group, headquartered in NY, is led by Keith Raniere and his right-hand woman, Allison Mack.

That was the moment, Oxenberg writes, that she knew she had to do "whatever it took to save my daughter from the clutches of this vicious cult and get her back".

Her 26-year-old daughter admitted that she had.

Kelly then asked Oxenberg what it was like to see that symbol branded on her child. But I had no choice-her life was in danger. Page Six reports that when a friend of India's called Catherine, who later contacted authorities, "She was terrified to speak on the phone, she was afraid that she was being tapped and she said, 'You need to save India.' She said they had signed a lifetime vow of obedience to their master. and then I flipped out", Catherine tells Megyn. But quickly, Catherine saw a sinister side to what appeared to be a self-help organization created to help its clients become the best versions of themselves. And that's why I feel responsible for getting her out. I spoke to numerous experts and they said, 'Would you stop blaming yourself? "At first I felt horrendous guilt that I had participated in bringing my daughter into an organization that was this deviant and risky". "I received threats myself". She was ordered held without bail and has since been released on $5 million bail.

Raniere was busted by the feds for sex trafficking earlier this year, accused of creating a twisted master-slave group in Nxivm where "slave" women were forced to sleep with him and have his initials branded into their skin. These cults are well-oiled machines.

"Under the guise of female empowerment, she starved women until they fit her co-defendant's sexual feminine ideal", Assistant U.S. Attorney Moira Kim Penza told judge Cheryl Pollak, referring to Keith Raniere, who allegedly led the cult.

"It was a question no mother should ever have to ask her daughter".
