Full Comic-Con Trailer for 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'

A new trailer has arrived in San Diego Comic-Con for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald. The footage kicks off with young Newt Scamander saying, "I'm scared, Professor Dumbledore". Although, Depp has denied this claim, news reports have sparked many "Harry Potter" and "Fantastic Beasts" fans to question as to why Warner Bros.' still cast him in the role. We also get sneak peeks at Zoe Kravitz, who plays Leta Lestrange, Newt's long lost love, as well as the immortal alchemist and father of the Philosopher's stone, Nicolas Flammel.

Slated for release on November 16, 2018, the film will be distributed worldwide in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. On a foggy bridge, Dumbledore tells Newt that he can't go after Grindelwald himself-it has to be Newt. This leads to Depp's Grindelwald to ask Scamander, "Mr. Scamander, do you think Dumbledore will mourn for you?" Depp wasn't the only member of the cast in San Diego for the panel.

But Newt might regret not desiring a more simple life, as the trailer reveals that Dumbeldore now wants him to help stop Grindelwald from destroying the Wizarding World as we know it.

The rest of the cast murmurs in agreement.

The follow-up to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will see Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) join forces with a young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to prevent evil Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) from enacting his plan of having wizards and witches rule over non-magical beings. Harry Potter fans were already pretty hyped for the sequel, but the Hall H panel along with the tease of Flamel and the true evil powers of Grindelwald have sent some fans into insane excitement. Notably, he didn't quite adopt the speech inflections and accent seen onscreen in the "Fantastic Beasts 2" trailer that debuted Saturday - instead he sort of mumbled haltingly, occasionally leaning into drawling Shakespearean intonations.
