'Glass' Trailer Announcement Teases The Return Of David Dunn

The long-anticipated trailer for Glass, the long-anticipated sequel to Unbreakable will be released in mere days at San Diego Comic-Con. It was revealed at the end of that film that Split takes place in the same universe as Shyamalan's 2000 film Unbreakable starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.

The teaser isn't much to go by at the moment other than for setting an intriguing tone to the movie, showcasing McAvoy in various states of emotional unrest and remaining focussed on his intense gaze through a broken pane of glass.

Returning for Glass are cast members Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, aka Mr. "Glass. Joining from 'Split" are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. It was just the return to form that Shyamalan devotees had been hoping for. Glass and Sarah Paulson as Ellie Staple.

Armed intruder reported at American University
American University student newspaper The Eagle reports that some students have not received alerts despite the correction. American University has been put on lockdown after police said there are reports of an armed intruder near the campus.

Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass is slated for release January 18, 2019. Glass, and James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, aka The Horde. They produce again with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider and Kevin Frakes, who executive produce.

Glass opens in theaters on January 18, 2019 and will be the riveting culmination of M. Night Shyamalan's worldwide blockbusters, all rolled into one explosive film.

Willis, 63, is back as Unbreakable's security guard-turned-would-be hero David Dunn. Until then, Universal Pictures has release the teaser for the trailer for the sequel.
