Lines closed at Build-A-Bear stores for ‘Pay Your Age Day'

You can pay your age for a furry friend at Build-A-Bear Workshop for Pay Your Age Day

"Per local authorities, we can not accept additional Guests at our locations due to crowds and safety concerns", Build-A-Bear said in a statement. Build-A-Bear Bonus Club members in the USA and Canada can also obtain a voucher by logging into their account by midnight on July 15, 2018.

Toy company Build-A-Bear issued a warning to customers against visiting its stores today after a "pay your age" promotion backfired spectacularly.

According to a press release earlier this week, Build-A-Bear created the one-day promotion "to kick off its new, everyday celebration of birthdays".

On Thursday, Build-A-Bear Workshop offered a big deal to its customers.

THE Build-A-Bear toy shop in Belfast's Victoria Square has been forced to close its doors after "extreme" crowds turned up at the store to take advantage of a promotion.

Trump renews war of words with London Mayor Sadiq Khan
Trump has said about your Brexit plan, are right", she continued, directing her comments towards Prime Minister May. Mexican Paul Fonseca, 23, who is living in Camden, north London , said: "I think it's hilarious".

Columbia Center mall's Build-A-Bear joined the hysteria with hundreds of people lined up from the mall entrance to Macy's, down to the mall's movie theater.

Others defended Build-A-Bear Workshop saying customers should have expected this. Kids were able to pay just a few dollars for stuffed bears, while adults' fees were capped at $29. That means a one-year-old can get what typically retails for around $25, for a single buck.

Customers went to the malls to get a bear for a bargain, but a lot of them left angry and disappointed.

Build-A-Bear announced on their website that they distributed vouchers to people present in lines to be redeemed for a future purchase. "Unfortunately, given these circumstances, we were unable to serve all of our Guests for the Pay Your Age Day event".
