Section 144 to be imposed at Lahore airport before Sharif's arrival

In London, On Sunday Maryam Nawaz Sharif was speaking to media, a day after an accountability court in Pakistan sentenced the three-time Premier to 10 years in prison while she got a seven-year term in the Avenfield corruption related to the Sharif family's purchase of upscale London flats.

The law enforcement agencies have prepared a security plan as per which, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will be sent to Islamabad on another plane immediately after their arrival at Lahore airport.

NAB teams are expected to arrest both father and daughter as soon as they land.

The NAB has already declared that Mr Sharif and Maryam will be arrested upon their arrival at any airport of the country.

Maryam further said that not only "we aren't deterred, these circumstances have further strengthened our resolve".

Puerto Rican T-shirt video controversy results in officer's resignation
The incident in question occurred June 14 in Caldwell Woods Forest Preserve on the Far Northwest Side. There was also a comment at the end "Why don't you and your people go back where you came from".

National Accountability Court (NAB) on Monday shifted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain (r) Safdar to Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, after he was presented in the accountability court.

The father-daughter duo was sentenced on Friday to 11 and eight years in prison and slapped £8-million and £2-million fines, respectively, in relation to the Avenfield properties reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) last year. Meanwhile, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurenzeb said Sharif and Maryam will arrive in Lahore on Friday via Abu Dhabi on a foreign airline.

It has been reported that Nawaz Sharif is now in London and has regularly been visiting the United Kingdom during the trial.

"Nawaz made the country an atomic power", he said, lamenting that PML-N's victory will defeat the verdict against Nawaz.

Sharif and his children have been in Britain since June attending to his ailing wife Kulsoom, who is being treated for cancer and is in a coma after suffering a heart attack last month.
