Steve Kerr, Warriors finalizing contract extension

Thompson Jamal Crawford to Warriors gaining momentum? Plus new Warriors Plus Minus episode

If there's one team in the National Basketball Association that doesn't need to make many moves this offseason, it's the Golden State Warriors.

A player of Durant's standing can dictate the terms of his contract and he wants a max offer from the Warriors - but on a one-plus-one deal, not a long-term contract, according to multiple reports.

Kerr, 52, is coming off a five-year, $25 million pact with the reigning champions.

There was no true team incentive for Durant to take such a pay cut this offseason, and being that he will turn 30 in September, there was little belief that he would be willing to accept reduced pay this time.

Last summer, shortly after signing with the Timberwolves, he praised the Golden State organization.

Trump also warned that if ICE were eliminated, the country would be "overrun with the worst criminal elements you have ever seen". Michael Grimm in a GOP primary and former Trump adversary Mitt Romney won the Republican nomination to be Utah's next US senator.

"Sometimes you don't negotiate", he said days after winning the title. "I'd love to have him for 10 years". The 52-year-old also holds an incredible 265-63 regular-season record and 63-20 in the playoffs. He's earned the right to sign whatever deal he wants.

"That shouldn't be a long negotiation". We'll get something done here pretty quick, and there won't be much fanfare. Crawford is not a good or versatile defender, and shot just 33.1 percent from 3-point range last season.

Durant averaged 26.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game, with a ridiculously efficient true shooting percentage of 64 and a PER of 26.

First, there's Steve Kerr's new contract extension agreement, reported to be very close on Friday by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and today confirmed by Kerr himself to NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole.
