'Game of Thrones' Stars Rose Leslie And Kit Harington Are Married

Sneak peek at the castle where GOT stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie will marry

The Game of Thrones actor, who plays Jon Snow, and his former co-star, who played his Wildling lover Ygritte, tied the knot on Saturday in a church service near the Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, according to reports.

They Wednesday at a church on the grounds of Leslie's family's estate, with the bride wearing a long-sleeve ivory dress with lace embellishments, a floral headpiece and long veil, while the groom wore a morning suit.

The Game of Thrones cast and crew are now shooting the show's eighth and final season that will air next year, but Harington was adamant about making sure his co-stars could witness his nuptials. Of the Game Of Thrones crew, Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Peter Dinklage arrived to congratulate the newly-weds. Harington, wearing a morning suit, and Leslie, in a flowing ivory gown and veil, smiled at members of the public who had gathered outside the church. Following the nuptials, the celebration is expected to continue at the bride's family's castle. Kit held the auto door open for Rose before getting behind the wheels and later, the duo met the wedding party at the reception hall.

Kit and Rose quietly began dating after meeting on set of the show years ago, and got engaged in 2017.

And the June 23 date was posted at the Huntly registration office in Aberdeenshire, in the north east of Scotland, last month. Although their relationship ended tragically in Game of Thrones (like most of the show's relationships), last September, the IRL couple announced their engagement in the Times of London. He said "it's an absolutely lovely day for us".

A source told The Sun's weird column: "They're yet to set a date, but told friends and family last week that they've got engaged".
