Today, Friday June 22, is Take Your Dog to Work Day!

"You discover, when walking across the office to pet a cute dog, cross-pollination between your work", she said.

However, in honor of Take Your Dog to Work Day, here are some local shelter dogs in desperate need of forever homes.

You and your furry best friend can spend some extra time together today.

Dog's Trust Ireland asked establishments of all types, to take part in Dogs Trust's Dog Friendly Ireland campaign, from restaurants, hotels, workplaces to public transport, across the country to allow their four-legged friends access their premises for this one day in a bid to help make Ireland more Dog-Friendly.

Bringing your dog to work has been found to reduce stress levels within the workplace, not just for yourself but the whole team in general.

You can buy this Ferrari 250 GTO if you have £35,000,000
Greg Whitten, RM Sotheby's claims that previous owners include some of the world's most prominent Ferrari collectors. The auto contested a total of 20 races in period, never involved in an accident, and not once failing to finish.

Make sure the office is a safe space for your pooch with no exposed wires for them to chew on.

A new study also proves the power of a pet friendly work environment.

While the pros of having a dog in the office seem to outweigh the cons, there are several things to consider before bringing your dog to work.

Pack a day bag for your dog including their bed, blanket, water, snacks and a toy (that won't make too many sounds to annoy your team mates!).

Ensure your mobile number is on your dog's collar in case they take themselves for a little walk throughout the building and don't forget a lead.
