Love Island's Sophie Gradon'dead aged 32, says Miss Great Britain

Love Island have paid tribute to 2016 contestant Sophie Gradon after it was confirmed on Thursday that she had died.

Sophie Gradon appeared on the 2016 series of the United Kingdom dating show love Island, and was crowned Miss Newcastle and Miss Great Britain in 2009.

News also reports that Gradon's boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong, posted a tribute to her on his Facebook page.

"I will never forget that smile", he said. "I love you so much baby you're my world forever and always". She was found dead in Ponteland, Northumberland, yesterday.

Northumbria Police released this statement regarding the death.

Bowen, who appeared on Love Island in 2016, wrote: "We had lots of little chats and so many laughs. you were the the shoulder to cry on and a lovely person with a handsome soul". @Sophiegradon what a attractive woman you were.
