Anthony Bourdain had no narcotics in system when he died

Anthony Bourdain's System Did Not Contain Narcotics Upon His Death

The celebrity chef, journalist and TV show host was found dead in his hotel room by suicide on June 8.

The Times also revealed that Anthony had no narcotics in his system when he died earlier this month.

In the aftermath of his tragic passing, officials have been investigating his suicide for any key factors that may have contributed to his death.

French prosecutor Christian de Rocquigney de Fayel told the New York Times in a text message that there were no drugs in Bourdain's system - save for a normal dose of a non-narcotic medicine.

Supreme Court Avoids Ruling on Two Partisan Gerrymandering Cases
Supreme Court and a lower federal court both declined to halt or overturn the use of the new districts in this year's elections. And in Wisconsin, where a Republican-drawn map was challenged, the court threw out the ruling challenging the Republican maps.

Bourdain had written and spoken frequently of his past addictions to heroin and cocaine as a chef moving from one restaurant to another in New York City in the 1980s. Bourdain had skipped dinner the evening before his body was discovered in his hotel bathroom.

Bourdain - who died at the age of 61 - is survived by his 11-year-old daughter Ariane, who is his only child with his ex-wife Ottavia Busia.

Anthony Bourdain was cremated in France, and his remains and travel belongings were sent to his younger brother, Christopher Bourdain. She shared, "He would want as little fuss as possible". Celebrity Insider reported earlier that his mother, Gladys, for the very first time, got a tattoo in commemoration of her late son.

Bourdain's agent Kimberly Witherspoon said there is no plan for a public memorial "at this time".
