Priest caught on tape violently grabbing & slapping baby during baptism

Priest loses temper & slaps toddler during baptism

A disturbing video has emerged of a priest slapping a baby across the face as he administers baptism.

At the start of the clip the woman who appears to be the baby's mother is holding in her arms while the priest, wearing white robes, begins the ceremony next to a baptismal font. The baby is crying loudly and the priest appears to be trying to get the baby to stop crying.

The parents or god-parents of the child look to be in disbelief as the priest begins to pull the child close to him once again.

The man and woman standing with the baby - believed to be his parents - are visibly shocked, eventually wrestling the child away from the priest's hands.

Newsweek reported that it's unknown when the incident occurred or the identities of the people in the video. I will spill water on the forehead, hmm?

Ronaldo becomes Europe's top scorer with strike against MoroccoNaija247news
Despite their valiant display, Morocco will rue the unforgivable defending that made all their subsequent good work irrelevant. Portugal talisman Cristiano Ronaldo is on course to surpass the legendary Ferenc Puskas on the list of most worldwide goals.

He then unleashes a sharp slap against the baby's cheek, shocking those sat in the church, who can be heard to gasp.

Finally, the man believed to be the child's father interjects, and removes the child from the situation before the video cuts out.

According to UK Daily Mail, the child would not stop crying during the ceremony; causing the clergyman to lose his temper, lift his left hand and hit the baby in the face.

The YouTube video was uploaded to Reddit on Thursday and sparked a torrent of outrage from viewers the world over, many furious that a trusted religious official would do such a thing.
