YouTube Just Announced New Streaming Platforms For Canadians

Those using premium will also get access to the "Youtube Originals" TV series. This is the section of Google Play Music where users upload their current music collections to the cloud, ready to stream wherever they want.

After launching in the States last month, Spotify rival YouTube Music is now available to download for iOS and Android in the UK, Canada and a selection of other European countries.

The service costs $9.99 a month, but new members can get three months for free. Until now, both these services were made available to select users in 5 countries including the US. And of course, YouTube Music offers users the hottest videos.

Other markets in which the app has landed include New Zealand, Mexico, South Korea, Austria, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain and Sweden.

You can download the new YouTube Music from the Play Store and App Store. You can also search by lyrics (even if they're wrong). It will also take advantage of YouTube's recommendations expertise. Much of that "viewing" is actually music listening, as music videos consistently rank among the most popular clips on YouTube, making it one of the biggest single sources of music listening worldwide.

Everything we get from our content partners - high quality audio, premium music videos, remixes, derivative works, performances from Jools Holland, music from the BBC archives... is in there.

Ronaldo criticized Iceland the same way after Portugal's 1-1 draw in Iceland's Euro 2016 debut . Argentina play Croatia in their next game in Saint Petersburg on June 21.

It turns out there is a very good reason the apps are now co-existing: it's all about making sure that all functionality that Google Play Music users now enjoy is eventually ported over to YouTube Music - as it stands, this just isn't the case. For now, Google Play Music will carry on as always, alongside YouTube Music. The relaunch of the service includes a full slate of YouTube Originals shows and films, including Cabra Kai, Impulse and The Sidemen Show.

"People come to YouTube to be part of music culture and discover new music", the company said in a statement.

Today, Spotify is in 65 markets while Apple Music is in well over 100.

You can try YouTube Premium free for three months here with it then costing £11.99 per month or £17.99 per month for a Family Plan.

YouTube launched the streamlining revamp of its subscription service offerings in May, routing a streaming music service, called YouTube Music, in pay monthly and ad-supported flavors (the latter with pared back features), to replace Google Play Music; and also announcing YouTube Premium (formerly called YouTube Red) - for music with video streaming.
