Porter Jr. Cancels Workout Over Major Spasms

Former Missouri forward Michael Porter Jr. canceled a workout scheduled for his second pro day in Chicago on Friday because of a strained hip, sources told ESPN.

The Bulls attended Porter's first pro day last week and were planning to attend Friday's workout, held only for interested lottery teams.

Porter is nearly a lock to be a lottery pick in the 2018 NBA Draft later this month, and he could even rise into the top 10 or even top 5 if teams are sold on his long-term health. Citing sources, ESPN reports that Porter couldn't even get out of bed because of muscle spasms. He played in just three games. Questions about his ability to be a good teammate at Missouri and his pre-draft interviews with National Basketball Association teams attending the combine contributed to the concern. Bulls doctors performed the physical on Porter that was shared with all interested National Basketball Association teams because of the agency's longstanding relationship with the club and the proximity.

It will then come back to the Commons once more, when MPs likewise can reject or vote through amendments to the legislation. Mr Grieve warned that if the Government failed to offer an adequate compromise, it would not be "the end of the matter".

While all reports since then indicate it's not that big a deal, Porter Jr.is nonetheless a player teams will evaluate with a higher level of scrutiny. Representatives of multiple teams that reviewed the information with their medical staffs say those results are encouraging.

Most teams are cautious about the back injury and whether it might be a problem throughout Porter's career. I feel pain-free and better than I have in a long time.

Not a draft season passes by where there's not at least one highly-regarded prospect whose health isn't questioned. The recent MRI was to see how it had fully healed. Smith is projected to go late in the lottery or shortly thereafter.
