Robert De Niro Says 'F--k Trump' at 2018 Tony Awards

Oscar-winning actor, Robert de Niro, got a standing ovation at the Tony Awards on Sunday after delivering a tirade against President Donald Trump on stage.

MSNBC host Joy Reid posted her thoughts on Trump's relationship with his hometown, "Robert DeNiro's Trump F-bomb at the Tony Awards is Trump's relationship with New York City in a nutshell".

"I'm gonna say one thing: F-- Trump!" he stated, as he clenched his two fists in the air, leaving panic-stricken broadcast censors trying bleep out the remarks.

Spicer said De Niro's comments were unsuitable for prime-time television and represents "exactly what's going on" between the American people and Hollywood. "And even more important, in these perilous times, you rock the vote, always fighting for, in your own words, 'truth, transparency, and integrity in government.' Boy, do we need that now".

'First, I wanna say, 'f**k Trump, ' the man started, causing many to cheer.

Perhaps we'll see this game at Sony's showcase tonight, or maybe not even until after Shadow of the Tomb Raider is out. That's the mood I'm in now having seen the new trailer Square Enix revealed during it's Nintendo Direct E3 Showcase .

The audience went wild, some rising to their feet.

Jewish shows fared well at the Tony Awards last night, with The Band's Visit reigning supreme amongst musicals and the revival of Angels in America holding its own amongst new and revived plays alike. The Tony Awards crowd proved a perfectly suitable liberal environment for a fresh statement, featuring for example, the outspoken anti-Trump survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida.

De Niro previously called Trump a "dog" and a "bulls*** artist" while threatening to physically assault him.

Bruce Springsteen was presented a special Tony Award by Billy Joel for his hugely popular show "Springsteen on Broadway, " and Springsteen later performed. De Niro's comments were unscripted and unexpected.

Ted Nugent tweeted: 'Damn shame Robert de Niro turned into such a hypocritical America hating drug-addled jerk'. "The offensive language was deleted from the broadcast".
