Liverpool reportedly make €65m bid for Alisson

Alisson

The Brazilian shot-stopper was attracting the interest of Liverpool earlier this year before the Reds took the unusual step of informing his representatives in March that they would not be pursuing a move this summer.

However it seems they should not get their hopes up just yet.

All Alisson did confirm was that his agent was in talks with a few clubs, but he said that if nothing is confirmed before the World Cup, he will wait until after the tournament to decide his future as he wants to focus on helping his country with the famous competition yet again.

'There are many possibilities on which we are working, but always together with Roma and with respect to my club. "We'll see if anything happens this week".

He will start for Brazil at this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation, but before that kicks off he wants a deal wrapped up.

France, Germany slam Trump's G7 statement U-turn
Leaders have struggled to find ways of getting through to Trump and persuading him to budge from his pre-established positions. The annual G-7 summit appeared to have weathered tensions over President Donald Trump's threats of a trade war.

"I hope it will be resolved, yes, before the World Cup, that's what I want, to be honest".

And Alisson, according to the Rome media source, favours a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool snared the Egyptian for £36.9million 12 months ago, and the fee has proven to be a relatively cheap one for a player who plundered 44 goals last season.

It could be, however, that Karius is being granted another chance and Liverpool rescinding interest in Alisson is Klopp's way of showing his faith in his goalkeeper.

Alisson is in a rich vein of form for the Lupas and has bailed them out on multiple occasions as the team enjoyed an wonderful run to the semi-finals of the Champions League, producing a very impressive result against a Barcelona side when they came back from 4-1 down to knock them out at the Stadio Olimpico.
