EPL Coach Rejects Real Madrid Approach

Los Blancos endured a lacklustre league campaign, finishing a disappointing 17 points behind champions Barcelona despite scoring 94 goals.

Real Madrid had previously tried to lure Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino back to La Liga to manage the club but the Argentine manager had just signed a new contract with the north London club and he would have cost Real £42.5m to secure his services.

He led Chelsea to a FA Cup trophy last month, beating Manchester United in the final at Wembley, but this is not expected to change the situation at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea's transfer board are already looking out for replacements for the Italian boss but Conte still looks determined to see out his contract that lasts for another year.

Porsche will double spending on electrification of vehicles to more than 6 billion euros ($7.4 billion) by 2022 from $3.7 billion. The company also marked the occasion by revealing a 911 Speedster Concept, an open-top version of its iconic sports auto .

But, according to Sky Sport Italia, the 48-year-old rejected the approach from the European champions.

Spanish daily AS quote him as saying "Guti isn't going to take the coaching post at Murcia because he is going to coach Real Madrid". However, according to Sky Sports Italia, the Los Blancos called up Conte to take up the job at the Spanish capital but the former Juventus boss chose to reject the lucrative offer. But Conte is also keen on staying at Chelsea until he gets fired as he will receive a fee of £9 million as compensation.

However Conte, who many expect to depart the Blues this summer having failed to defend his Premier League title and qualify for the Champions League, passed on the grounds that he wants to respect his current deal with Chelsea.
