Kate Spade's cause of death confirmed amid rumors of alcohol abuse

Speaking to the New York Times, Andy Spade says Kate was "actively seeking help" over the past five years for anxiety and depression. "Bea is his only concern and number one priority at this point", the insider said. She got her start in fashion working for Mademoiselle magazine in the fashion accessories department.

Kate Spade, 55, was found in her Park Avenue apartment by her housekeeping staff, they reported. "This thing better work", she said in the interview.

Early reports of Kate's death mentioned a possible note the designer left behind for her daughter - something that, if it exists, should absolutely have been kept confidential by everyone who arrived at the scene.

Andy also confirmed that he and Kate had been living separately for 10 months before her passing, but the pair were still close and had "never even discussed divorce" as they still "loved each other very much".

Kate Spade's husband has spoken out for the first time since his wife's death by suicide.

She was working as an accessories editor at Mademoiselle magazine when she launched her company with husband Andy in their NY apartment in 1993.

White House reportedly considering new economic penalties against Canada
Earlier today, The Washington Post reported that Trump isn't is exactly excited about his trip to The Great White North. Praising Mr Trump's past involvement she said he had managed to help her deliver a top priority a year ago .

Spade's statement went on to stamp out any rumors of what else may have driven his wife to take her own life.

According to police sources, the note addressed the couple's daughter, expressing that she should not feel at fault. "She was exceedingly kind, beautifully sensitive, insanely talented, amusing as heck and one of the most generous people I have ever known".

Spade took a break from fashion until around 2015, when she and Andy rejoined with Arons to launch a new venture: Frances Valentine. "My daughter and I are devastated by her loss, and can't even begin to fathom life without her".

The husband and business partner of designer Kate Spade, who died in an apparent suicide, said she suffered from depression and anxiety for many years. "I mean, they were no-names", she said. There was no substance or alcohol abuse. We were together for 35 years.

"She didn't say why she did it", a police source said of Kate's final message.

Frances Valentine, with which she was involved until her death, focuses exclusively on shoes and handbags. "Then I remember thinking, you know, 'No, I'm not on your mailing list, but I think I helped create it'".
