White House says Trump is not defending Roseanne Barr

Roseanne Barr wanted her hit show to get canceled with her racist Twitter meltdown, ex-husband Tom Arnold claimed in a new interview.

There has been a ton of reactions to United States network ABC's decision to cancel its popular sitcom Roseanne after its star, Roseanne Barr, tweeted a racist comment about former Barack Obama staffer Valerie Jarrett.

"I had a feeling this was going to happen when I first heard it was coming back", Arnold told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "AC360".

"It was 2 in the morning and I was Ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible", she wrote.

A reluctant John Goodman took a cautious route with a cameraman who asked him Wednesday about Roseanne Barr's racist tweets and the cancellation of ABC's Roseanne, in which he plays Dan Conner.

"ABC lost maybe $1 billion from this; this show was grinding out money hand over fist and they lost it all because somebody didn't say, "Get that phone out of her hand", Arnold says. Sykes had responded to Barr's invective by announcing via Twitter that she wouldn't return to the show.

"Guys I did something unforgivable so do not defend me", she wrote, after retweeting many fans who had been defending her.

Anti-Kremlin Russian journalist shot and killed in Ukraine
In March 2017, renegade Russian lawmaker Denis Voronenkov was shot and killed at the entrance of an upscale hotel in Kyiv. In Moscow, officials and lawmakers criticized Ukrainian authorities for their alleged failure to protect journalists.

Like other cast members, he has condemned her racist tweet. "She needed someone to wrangle her in and take her phone". Trump has posted a tweet that didn't address the content of Barr's tweet directly, but referred to grievances Trump evidently feels about statements made and said about him on ABC.

Bob Iger, the chief executive of Disney, which owns ABC, expressed his support for the network's decision and later called Jarrett to apologise, which prompted the President's response. She acknowledged she "should have known better" and that her joke "was in bad taste".

"I'm getting in so much trouble", Barr also said.

When Barr mentioned her own campaign for president in 2012, Kimmel said, "you were kind of the original insane tweeter running for president".

"I generally believe he thinks black people are risky and Mexicans are rapists", Arnold said. "Everybody knows her to be a little raunchy and a little rough".

Netflix has a strong social media game and isn't afraid to roll up its sleeves and tangle with rivals. Like, you know what, no matter what kind of divorce you had, that's a weird thing to say. He added, "I condemn these statements vehemently" and that her thoughts do not reflect his own "inclusive" views. "And with that said, I have an idea that I think makes this work for everyone", he explained.
