LeBron on Chris Paul shimmy: 'I was laughing, smiling like everybody else'

NBA Rockets lose star guard for Game 6

"I hope he's healthy", Trevor Ariza said Thursday night, before the Rockets had ruled Paul out.

The shot was incredible (and lucky), but topped by the celebration.

Rockets point guard Chris Paul will miss Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors with a strained hamstring, reports Yahoo!

The Warriors, however, now find themselves down 3-2 in their series against the Houston Rockets, and a significant factor is the lack of ball movement.

During his postgame podium session, one of the questions to Curry was about Paul's shimmy. Paul has set the tone for Houston since its calamitous loss to Golden State in Game 3, fighting through a foot injury to hit timely jumpers and to play fierce defense, often battling chest-to-chest with Kevin Durant, who stands almost a foot taller than him.

The only downside for Houston was a right hamstring injury to Paul that saw him limp off in the final minute.

"It will not change anything that we do or how we do it", D'Antoni said.

Trump doubles down on "Spygate" claims
When asked outright if the intelligence community spied on Trump and his campaign, Clapper said, "No, we did not". Shortly after 9:30 a.m., he fired off a two-word message in all capital letters: "WITCH HUNT!"

Four years ago, Paul's Clippers barely survived Curry's Warriors in a cutthroat seven game first-round series. The vaunted backcourt duo, head coach Mike D'Antoni and a bevy of perfectly fitting role players have pushed the Warriors, once seemingly invulnerable, to the brink of elimination. "They weren't great shots, he made something out of nothing".

On Friday, the Rockets announced that Paul will miss Game 6.

Paul eventually checked out of the game with 22.7 seconds remaining, watching the game in a slumped position on the bench and only getting up once to huddle with his teammates during a stoppage in play. "But great opportunity for other guys and we have plenty to choose from and we'll be ready".

"Every facet of the game, he was controlling the tempo", James said after Friday morning's practice session in Cleveland, referring to Paul's Game 5 performance.

Yet for all the things the stout Rockets' defense did to make it tough for Golden State, if the Warriors ultimately come up short, analysts and fans alike will only see what the team did wrong.

Golden State figures to benefit from a couple factors when the series resumes on Saturday night. It's going to be a bitter pill for Rockets fans to swallow if their team doesn't make it to the NBA Finals and they're nearly certainly going to say that the Warriors are only there because of luck.
